This week was one of those weeks where I don't even know what
happened. It went by so fast! On Monday we went on a hike that we
thought was going to take a long time and we thought it was going to
be a long and hard because it started off steep. Then...it was done.
It went up to a waterfall. I took of my shoes, but it was freezing. It
was fun. Then on Tuesday we had a special sisters training and we had
the responsibility to train the sisters on how to make a negative door
approach a positive experience. And I realized that I needed to be
better at that, because many times if someone isn't nice to us, then
we always have something to say. So we have been catching our self to
be nicer. That evening we had an exchange and we knocked on this door
of a less active sister and her dog was so excited that he was running
around and he peed all over our legs! We tried to move but he kept
following us. We just laughed super hard and we were pretty grossed
out. Ha ha. Then we another exchange the next day. But nothing funny
happened there. Oh and we got a new car! Its a 2014 Toyota corolla, it
has a back up camera and blue tooth. We were super stoked :)

This week as I was studying the Book of Mormon in 3rd Nephi came
across the importance of the sacrament and going to church.  This is
when Christ has given them the commandment of the Sacrament to the
people. I like how at the end it says that we do it to witness to the
Father. And I thought about sacred ordinances and how we do them to
witness to the Father that we are willing to His Son.

10 And when the disciples had done this, Jesus said unto them:
Blessed are ye for this thing which ye have done, for this is
fulfilling my commandments, and this doth witness unto the Father that
ye are willing to do that which I have commanded you.

We were listening to a talk about our attitude and how we perform
these ordinances. Are our hearts in the right place?  We can
partake of the sacrament each week, or go to the temple, but we need
to do these things with clean hands and a pure heart. We need to
change our thoughts not just our actions. When we mess up, the Lord still
loves us and asks us to keep trying that our hearts may be changed. It is a
never ending process. We continue to go to church so that we can focus
on and strengthen our relationship with our Heavenly Father, and our Savior.
We recommit ourselves each week, and as we keep trying to obey His commandments,
He will ALWAYS BE WITH US that our hearts may be changed.
That we may become like Him.

I love you all!
