So I thought that it was supposed to be getting warmer here in Utah...nope it was cold this week with a high of about 44. Its okay, because we have a car and I am so happy to have a car even though its a little ghetto and the bumper is going to fall of any day now. Last week Monday we had a super fun p-day activity where we went to Sister Dillon's house.  She made all the missionaries in our zone food and we played tennis and basketball and croquet and baseball. It was fun. Then this week we went to visit this less active woman who is passing away.  We asked her what service we could do for her and she said that we could give her a bath everyday.  So I told her that we would need special training. Ya we don't get asked that very often. Thankfully she was joking!
This week we did had transfers and Sister Olszowka and I are still together! This is the longest I have been in one area. We have a a lot work to do here, but we just need the hearts to be softened. We know that it's all in the Lords time and something that we all have learned is patience. But patience is not an excuse to do less work all it means is that we need to keep working hard and have the peace that the Lord will provide.

This week I learned a lot about patience because yet again another investigator is avoiding us. Its just so interesting how we all seek for happiness, but we are not willing to do what it takes to receive that everlasting happiness.
Yesterday's Relief Society lesson was a talk by Dallin H. Oaks "No other Gods." I liked this quote, "Are we serving the God we profess to worship?" I pose that question to all of you and me. So often we get caught up in the right now of things. We can't go to church because of soccer, dance, so and so said that I shouldn't. Or we can't read scriptures and say prayers because we all get home at different times or we get home to late.  These "primary" answers that are asked of us will help us know where we are going.  Yes there are many people who do these things and still don't live the way they are suppose too.  But if we understand God's plan of happiness then we all will be trying to live the way we know we are suppose to and we will declare it to those who disagree with us. Elder Holland gave a great talk about how we in today's society have created a god in our image.
It is as the Lord Himself lf lamented to the prophet Isaiah:
“[These] children … will not hear the law of the Lord:
“[They] say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
“Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.”10
Sadly enough, my young friendsit is characteristic of ouage that if people want any gods at all, they want them to be gods who do not demand muchcomfortable gods, smooth godwho not only don’t rock the boat but don’t even row it, godwho pat us on the head, make us giggle, then tell us to rualong and pick marigolds."
I love the gospel and I love the work its hard sometimes, but we just gotta keep the faith.
I love you all!
